Meet Véronique.
Welcome to Design by Véronique! I'm a soprano, and in addition to my performance career, I design websites and media for artists, creatives, and small businesses. My design process is collaborative, intentional, and authentic. Each client needs and deserves a unique process to showcase what makes them special. As an artist in the field myself, I am well-versed in the artistic landscape and dedicated to supporting each client's individual brand and voice. (And it's a great joy to do so!)

For when you want a custom site built just for you! In addition to your unique site, this service includes Search Engine Optimization, mobile and tablet optimization, responsive building for all screen sizes, and professional branding elements (fonts, art, etc.) purchased from artist collaborators.
Website refresh.
For those whose branding elements need an update or who want to change up their preexisting Wix sites.
Ongoing edits and website management.
For clients who want efficient, long-term help with website updates and maintenance, at a very affordable price point. (Over 90% of DBV clients use this service!)
Copy editing.
For those who need to write a bio, want help with resume content and formatting, or need some assistance with proofreading and restructuring.
Photo editing.
For those who might need a headshot edited, promo photos altered, or a background altered or extended.

Creative Writing degree from Northwestern University (magna cum laude) plus degrees in Voice & Opera from Northwestern University (with honors) and the University of Maryland Opera Studio

Multi-year job experience in professional writing for the arts and humanities, including grant writing and awarding, outreach, program materials for presenting organizations, and community engagement

7 years experience in marketing and communications for over seventy personal clients and several musical institutions, including the University of Maryland School of Music

Proficiency with Photoshop and Premiere Pro (Adobe's video editing software) for photo background alteration/extension, minor photo editing, and video editing including cropping, titling, and trimming
